Chloe, in the week before her death

Chloe, in the week before her death

In Endogenous DMT Release in Near-NDEs? I described our elderly cat Chloe, who last year seemed to be experiencing possible “mini-trips” that I suspected may have been occurring during near-NDEs.  She was at the beginning of a significant downturn then, having been diagnosed with hyperthyroidism and kidney disease.  Chloe was allergic to the thyroid medicine and too frail to undergo surgery.  As she deteriorated, she may have been producing associated chemical compounds – possibly including DMT.

This past year she grew weaker and weaker, and lost more weight.  At 17-1/2 years old, Chloe was down to 4 pounds just a few weeks ago, and due to sudden difficulties walking, finally in late November we made arrangements to have her euthanised.  However, on the day before her scheduled last visit to the vet, Chloe was suddenly walking better and had a bit more spring in her step.  We cancelled the appointment, which was for Friday morning, the 3rd of December.  Although we’d been through a series of tough questions while pondering choices, we saw improvement and just couldn’t feel completely certain it was time to go through with the euthanasia.  Even so, Chloe wasn’t well.  We decided to wait and see what the next week held.

But Chloe’s day had come.  That same evening, we heard a very odd, guttural sound coming from the other room.  Upon checking to see what was going on, we were horrified to see our yellow tabby standing in the doorway, over Chloe’s stretched out body on the floor.  Chloe was dying.  Her eyes were open but unresponsive; her pupils were so huge that no iris could be seen at all.  Her body appeared to be paralysed, except for her face: without moving much, she was making slight coughing noises every few seconds, and the muscles in her face were all quivering and spasming.  All I could do was to pet her gently and to say, “It’s okay, Chloe…Oh Chloe….” through my tears.  My heart was broken.  Chloe was rigid even as her facial muscles continued to quiver; the movement of her fur reminded me of wheatfields blowing in the wind.

Then she suddenly stopped moving and it was all over.  I was stunned and anguished beyond words.  Neither my partner nor I had ever witnessed the death of a loved one, whether person or companion animal, and the ordeal thoroughly shook us up.  We let our other cat examine Chloe briefly – they’d been companions for over 13 years since Tiger was born – then wrapped her body in a fleece blanket in preparation to deliver it to the pet crematorium the following morning.

Only five days earlier, on Sunday the 28th of November, while doing the NY Times crossword, I’d been halfway listening to an interview with Dr Martin Ball, an entheogenicist.  Most of what he was saying I was already familiar with, but one thing stood out:  Ball mentioned that while on DMT, his facial muscles would quiver.  Why I held on to that bit of information, and that bit only, is beyond me; perhaps it was so that I could perhaps understand a little more about what Chloe would be going through when she made her transition.  I still wonder, but cannot know: was her facial quivering accompanying a DMT rush at her death?   As Rick Strassman and others have speculated, I also wonder… could DMT somehow ease the transition – in some way open the door for the spirit?

It’s been two and a half weeks since Chloe passed on.  We miss her, but I think Tiger misses her the most; he’s been a bit lethargic, yet more talkative than usual, and seems to be remembering Chloe.  Most notably, the morning after Chloe’s death, Tiger was sitting near me at almost the exact spot where Chloe had taken her last breath, and he looked up at the ceiling intently for about ten seconds – much like I’d seen Chloe do in the months prior to her death.  In the absence of a spider or wasp, I’d never seen him do that.  I can only guess, but it seemed to me that he was looking at something that I couldn’t see – perhaps the spirit of Chloe – or what remained, say, floating DMT molecules (a stretch, but possible) – hadn’t entirely left the room yet, and he was sensing a disembodied presence in a way only cats can.

Altered States and Shamanic Initiation

Tuesday, May 11th, 2010

What are commonly called vivid dreams may be the result of deep sleep’s pineal DMT rush.  But is the “spirit molecule” stimulated from within, or by an outside force?   In the utilisation of supranormal amounts of the mystical neurotransmitter DMT, dream visions often echo archetypal shamanic experiences during altered states of consciousness (ASCs).

Considering the overlap of myriad ASCs at certain times in my life, I associate the following vision with the extraterrestrial visitations in which I was consciously immersed during the early- to mid -1990s.  The strangest thing is that another ET experiencer and I had virtually the same ASC journey, suggesting that our identically-themed “dream” wasn’t mere coincidence, but rather that we experienced the same scenario.

Independently, in an altered state of consciousness, we were both taken in a small boat with a white-robed and bearded guide across moonlit, choppy water, arriving on the shore of some island where we were both presented with the challenge of climbing over a barrier of cluttered, rusty, appliance-themed detritus.

The details seem too specific and unusual to have arisen by chance – especially between two people who’d never met and had never spoken to one another or learned about the other’s experience before having their own.  Significantly, during shamanic trance, initiates often travel over water to a place where they encounter and overcome obstacles in order to reach the otherworld.  So our experiences echo a motif of shamanic initiation and uncover a connection between ET experiences and shamanism.

Another extraordinary ASC echoing shamanic initiation occurred during another “vivid dream” when I was a small girl, perhaps 7 or 8 years old.  While asleep or at least visiting another dimension, I had an extremely vivid vision of being inside an unimaginably huge, transparent, crystalline structure – a cathedral of sorts.   For awhile I was totally inconsolable, but gradually my altered state began to fade away with a rush of waking tears, leaving me with indelible images:  The towering quartz crystals!  The overwhelming sorrow!  Waking in my mother’s arms…!

The crossing of water to encounter and overcome obstacles shares significant details with the cathedral dreams, reflecting worldwide shamanic experiences as described by Eliade.  I associate these visions and others with my apparent interactions with non-human intelligence over the years – indeed spanning my life.

If an association between these visions and a mysterious Other Intelligence exists, have I accessed that dimension accidentally -perhaps through a naturally-occurring DMT spike?  Or has this experience come to me intentionally via exogenous DMT or even by somehow stimulating an endogenous DMT release to establish the interface?

Endogenous DMT Release in Near-NDEs?

Thursday, August 27th, 2009

Based on what I learned from Rick Strassman’s fantastic book DMT: The Spirit Molecule as well as recent observations of an elderly feline, I wonder if the DMT rush that may “bridge the dimensions” at death and during near-death experiences may effectively play a role in near-near-death experiences [NNDEs] as well – and not just among human beings.

Sixteen years ago my young daughter and I brought home our first cat.  It’s like yesterday we were driving down the highway with little black and white Chloe in a wool beret, just five weeks old, her lithe form frantically clawing at each chance of escape.  (She’s an escape artist to this day.  Ah, the psychology of a cat….that’s another curiosity entirely.)

Hyperthyroidism and an enlarged kidney aren’t getting the best of her yet.  Chloe keeps chugging along, most days with determination and verve, seeming far short of her years.  This little old lady is a sprite, for sure.  And she’s always hungry, always thirsty, and always wanting to be held – so I feed her often, refresh her water bowl, hold her.

Sixteen years is precious time.  Now her front paws shake when she stands.  Every day she’s a bit lighter – almost floating.  She’s always been somewhat of a featherweight, and now more than ever.  Sometimes she’s a bit lethargic, and the next moment she’ll bound around the house like a whirlwind in an apparent rush of adrenaline.

Here’s where it gets really interesting for me.  Lately Chloe’s taken the habit of staring into space, looking at things that I don’t see.   At times she’s listless while staring, but more often her eyes are animatedly focused on something she’s apparently watching in front of her – almost like she’s dreaming, yet she’s wide awake.

Maybe she’s actually “tripping.”  Now there’s something to ponder.  Could Chloe be experiencing relatively subtle, near-death DMT rushes as bits of her waste away, or rather, transform?  Might she occasionally dose out on spikes of endogenous DMT and momentarily traverse other dimensions?  She can’t come right out and say it, but observing her during one of these apparent “mini-trips” I can’t help but wonder what she’s experiencing.

Whether DMT may functionally accompany the general time of transition as well as the “final” moment is worth pondering.  Considering that possibility, how might a given bioorganism – human, cat, or tree – react when dipping its metaphorical toes into the tidal waters at the edge of radical metamorphosis?

Singing the Body Electric – Human Force Fields and The Streetlight Effect

Thursday, April 30th, 2009

I’ve thought about the streetlight effect quite a lot, because the phenomenon of knocking out streetlights happens around me quite a bit.  These events are also episodic to a degree, typically clustered around times when I perceive my quantum vibration to be intensely high.

Based on how I feel energetically, I can generally predict whether or not streetlights will go out when I’m near them on a given night.  If I’m driving home from an intriguing lecture or have just been involved in a fractalising conversation, or if I’m just thinking, thinking, thinking and making new connections – that’s when I’m more likely to affect streetlights.  So it would appear that the streetlight effect is related to increased cognitive synaptic activity.

Simply feeling more energised may well be a sign that we’re primed for increased subtle electric interactions.  The mechanism by which this happens is a mystery, but I intuit that our unique vibrational frequency and sensitivity factor in.  When I’m surrounded by negatively-charged ions, for instance, I get a mental surge which is likely electrical in nature – and which may also explain my fascination with stormchasing:  I’m hungry for the storm’s negative ions.

Another possibility is that spontaneous increases in neurotransmitters like serotonin and DMT may play key roles in working with quantum energetic fluctuations.  Terence and Dennis McKenna, in The Invisible Landscape, note that when we’re saturated with certain tryptamines (presumably whether via enhanced endogenous production or an outside source), the resulting electron spin resonance (ESR) of the metabolising tryptamines within our bodies may be “amplified to audible levels,” at which point the sound “…can actually become visible – as if the vibrational wave patterns were shifting into the visible spectrum (italics mine).”  Perhaps this speaks to halos depicted around angels and other figures as far back as prehistoric cave paintings.

A phenomenon that may be related to all of this is BOLs – balls of light – and here’s a story to preface why.

One day in the mid-1990s, a time when I was highly energised in general, I was totally enchanted by love for my cat; she was purring so loudly and seemed to be in trance, like me.  I was filled with so much love for her at that moment, words can’t describe.  Suddenly a bumblebee type of BOL (so described due to its size, its general energetic feel, and even the sound I perceived) came flying at me from across the room – !  I saw it from the corner of my eye and then looked right at it, instinctively ducking as it flew past me, moving my head slightly right.

I actually felt the buzzing energy graze my left eyebrow.  Simultaneously I jumped up from the sofa, tossing little Minou’ halfway across the room.  Thinking the BOL must have hit the wall behind me and be bumbling around on the floor behind the sofa, I instantly looked for it, but it was gone – or at least it had become invisible.

I’ve always thought the BOL just described was attracted to the force field generated by the strong loving feelings between my cat and me at that moment. Maybe these BOLs are outward manifestations of our own electricity once we’ve attained a certain highly-energised state by one of the methods I’ve described above.

Maybe they’re completely independent beings or disembodied intelligence that manifest on their own when conditions are right.  If either case if true, even part of the time, BOLs (visible light or plasma in a “bundled” form of EM) and BOEs (balls of energy in the non-visible part of the EM spectrum) may be drawn into and/or released by our own electromagnetic field.

By extension, whether BOL or BOE, “packets” of excited energy may interact with a streetlight’s sensor or other functional mechanisms, disrupting the lamp’s anticipated operating conditions.

That may sound complicated, but it really boils down this:  I theorise that our energy, when vibrating at a high enough state, can produce gravitational effects and “surplus” electromagnetic radiation, whether in the visible spectrum or not, and that this conceivably leads to such phenomena such as BOLs, the streetlight effect, and even synchronicity, as I’ve detailed previously.

Omniscient Interdimensional Causality in Extraordinary Experience

Monday, March 30th, 2009

Many of my posts here at Inter-Intelligence Communications relate to synchronicity, and of course to crop circles as well.  Many of us drawn into the mysteries of the crop circles share a propensity toward noticing synchronicities – not just little, notable coincidences that happen here and there, but BIG ones, the kind that make you stand back and say, “How could that be?

So I’ve wondered a lot, studied Jung’s works a bit, and have concluded that the “why” part of the equation is easier to explain – though still up for discussion. To me, in agreement with Jung, these “wake-up calls” seem to be guideposts or signs that we’re on the right path (or in the case of the trickster phenomenon, an attempt to throw us off course – an example of which I’ll describe in an upcoming article). Yet I haven’t found any convincing explanations for how synchronicities and similar unexplained phenomena come about, though ideas like the collective unconscious, morphic fields, and akashic records are reasonable to ponder.

Some of the most incredible and inexplicable of my experiences happened around the time that I was first drawn in to interactions with the crop circles and their makers back in 1995 – definitely a time when I was highly energised and distinctly felt infused by an “other,” complementary intelligence. Fourteen years later, I’ve come up with a theory that’s fun to contemplate, if not especially scientific.

If you’d like to read on, an open mind will come in handy, as will the following definitions of a few key terms as they will be used here:

1) Interdimensional refers to an intelligence of unknown nature, whether physical (in the common use of the word) or extramundane, which may from time to time coexist with humans. The interdimensional may be seen or unseen, and may be present with or without a human awareness of its presence.

2)  Omniscient means knowing much, much more than most modern humans, but not necessarily everything, i.e., the word isn’t used in the traditional religious sense as an adjective describing “God.”  What is required for my theory is simply an acceptance that omniscience refers to a knowingness far beyond the general human ability to comprehend.

3)  Vibration (or “frequency”) is used to describe what I visualise as a morphing toroid loop representing the continual action of various energies and processes – such as light, electromagnetic, and biochemical – affecting cellular structure and DNA, and the subsequent action of the changed material on those energies and processes in turn, and so on, ad infinitum.

Putting into words some of the anticipated cascading developments and implications of these ideas has been a fun, if arduous, process.  Still, the theory itself is pretty basic and straightforward at this point.  I hope to continue to explore and refine it over time as new insights spring forth.  As always, feedback is welcome.

BASIC THEORY OF OMNISCIENT INTERDIMENSIONAL CAUSALITY IN EXTRAORDINARY EXPERIENCE

Extraordinary phenomena such as synchronicity and deja vu are generally accepted as real events.  I’d bet that most by-the-book scientists have experienced the odd sensation known as deja vu, though most of them would show little public interest in pondering how or why they occur.  Just the same, many theories have been devised in an attempt to explain these phenomena, but none have been proven, nor do I expect will mine.  But there must be some explanation….

Major synchronicities seem to happen, or be recognised at least, by certain people more than others.  Simply put, I think there’s a correlation between the vibration (or “frequency”) of those individuals and their proclivity to experience what is commonly known as “paranormal” or “supernatural” phenomena.  The higher one’s vibration, i.e., the more active one’s biophysical and bioenergetic fields, the more energetic the morphing toroid previously described.

If we accept that energy can be captured, utilised, transformed, and released by humans, perhaps we can also accept that, in keeping with Jung’s observation that synchronicity tends to happen more frequently during periods of great intensity in one’s life, other extraordinary activity may also wax and wane in accordance to life events. (In past writings I’ve wondered if some unknown gravitational effect is involved, but I won’t go into all the details here.)

When our vibration is stimulated, as some individuals seem to perpetually exhibit, we may not even be aware of the cause.  For instance, falling in love or experiencing a life-altering epiphany may lead to biochemical changes experienced primarily “under the radar.”  I’ve noticed that when my vibration “feels” positively charged, streetlights blink out one after the other as I drive under them, which again hints at a possible gravitational effect involving, perhaps, a heightened electromagnetic frequency.

On the other hand, intentional physical practices like Qigong and Holotropic Breathwork can alter one’s bioenergetic state.  And entheogens such as DMT or psilocybin are known to radically alter our biochemistry with mystical results.  Some researchers have speculated that interdimensional portals may be opened by these methods; in other words, that certain activities or substances may be utilised specifically to become aware of and/or influenced by extraordinary realms of reality – and, in my view, to excite our vibration.

Humans have used various consciousness-altering techniques for at least thousands of years.  Nearly-identical, detailed cave paintings dating back circa 40,000 years have been inexplicably found on various continents.  Were certain techniques used to produce higher vibratory states, at which point a distinct frequency was achieved allowing omniscient, interdimensional beings to “tune in” and even inhabit the seeker or shaman, effectively providing “supernatural” guidance, knowledge, and insight independent of other contemporary seekers in far-distant lands?

Those who experience extraordinary reality today don’t necessarily identify as shamans or even seekers; in fact, just about everyone has experienced deja vu, which I feel can also be explained by in omniscient interdimensional “intrusion,” if you will.  I’ve talked with many people about their sense of deja vu, and most seem to believe during a deja vu, they’re living out something they’d previously dreamed.  But few of those people take a step further back and question how they managed to have a precognitive dream, which necessarily implies a supernatural cause – ESP.

I suggest that during deja vu, our vibration is actually acting as a magnet for omniscient interdimensionals to somehow interface with us on some kind of intellectual, cellular, or even quantum level, allowing us a momentary look into the future.  Likewise, to activate a synchronicity, an omniscient interdimensional may temporarily inhabit us, effectively guiding us to the exact location and circumstance that we will later call a “one in a billion chance.”  Are these experiences mere chance, though?  Or is the Cosmos speaking to us via omniscient interdimensionals that we may not directly sense, but that may nonetheless directly affect our actions and perceptions?

EMPATH EYES – A Correlation between Eyes and Empathy? ~ Part Two

Saturday, January 31st, 2009

If a correlation exists between eye dilation and empathy, of what significance might this be?  That question currently has no straightforward answer.  Several scenarios would have to be considered and examined.

Might empaths may be generating more endogenous DMT, or perhaps some other self-produced compound, with ongoing dilatational effect on the pupils?  Starseeds, healers, and other empaths filled with love and light would tend to have larger or somehow captivating pupils, and I’ve anecdotally noticed this trend.  We might realise that our pupils dilate when our world is richer – and that correspondingly, when we and our pupils are more open, the world becomes richer.  Empathy would seem to be an attractor for extramundane experience.

What would we do with that knowledge?

IMAGINING THE METAVERSE
Questions to Ponder

Does DMT or something like it somehow illuminate, from the inside, perhaps through some “trick” of nature, the quanta of which we are formed?   Does it enhance or even create the perception that we are animated, individual, sentient beings in our own right?

Can we dip into other dimensions of quantum consciousness that exist within independent universes so obscure we generally don’t realise they also exist in “ours?”

Are “we” interwoven with an other, unique DMT universe, populated by beings and animations that exist independent of us, yet who exist inside us as well?

  • DMT: The Spirit Molecule by Rick Strassman.

Sacred Science, Extraordinary Awareness, and the Implications of Psychedelic Research

If you’re keenly interested in interdimensional contact and haven’t read Dr Rick Strassman’s book, DMT: The Spirit Molecule, I highly recommend you do.  Here you’ll get firsthand reports of sudden transits into extreme and superreal otherworld destinations that are readily available to us by way of DMT, a chemical that our bodies and other organic, living matter produce naturally and which can also be synthesised in the lab, in which case it is deemed a controlled substance in the US and in some other countries.

The extent of DMT’s purpose isn’t known.  What we know is that when certain thresholds are surpassed by extraordinary amounts of circulating DMT, we may experience mystical states such as near-death and out-of-body experiences, alien encounters, epiphanies, and lucid dreams, among other “extramundane” states.

Within seconds of receiving high intravenous doses of DMT in a controlled setting, Strassman’s research volunteers landed in a wholly-different but real otherworld, many experiencing fully-conscious contact with various independent, sentient beings.

While the body remains in “this reality,” DMT-saturated awareness lands somewhere else entirely, often described as being like a spaceship, a circus, or some other artificial, energetic space.  Volunteers report a supernormal rapid relay of what seems like radical data – which, as with dreams, often fades to some degree once the DMT level attenuates.

Notably, in Strassman’s experiment, visuals of the DMT otherworld were oddly overlaid (i.e., as entirely different realities) upon the room if the subject’s eyes were open – rather like “two branes colliding,” in a cosmological sense, so volunteers wore an eyemask to prevent distortion of the dominant DMT field.   (I’d be curious to know if something happens in the brain that also shows up on functional MRI [fMRI].  To my knowledge, no one has checked that out yet.)   What is both anecdotally and scientifically documented is that certain concentrations of DMT, whether of endogenous or exogenous origin, seem to allow physical and mental awareness to separate and occupy totally different realities simultaneously.

That endogenous DMT may play a role in creating and/or facilitating, at will, temporary yet very real interdimensional encounters with other intelligent beings may be one way we humans may enter an otherworld, to explore some of the deepest mysteries of our time.  The question is, how can we increase endogenous DMT production, without being reborn or nearing death….?  Another question, perhaps, is should all humans, having given informed consent, whether for personal or cosmological insight, be allowed to experience levels of DMT that may well illuminate dimensions beyond the mundane?
